Madame Miranda is not a beauty salon, it is a digital platform dedicated to on demand Hair & Beauty services that aims to simplify women’s life and to satisfy their needs with a high quality service. MM works around the customer schedule and delivers beauty services upon request, at home or in the office, at the gym or the hotel, as long as is permitted by the law.

Does the location I pick for my treatment need to comply with any special requirement?

The specialists registered with Madame Miranda are used to perform treatments in a variety of places with the same level of attention and care and in compliance with the applicable regulations. To allow the best execution of the treatment and respect schedule and high quality standards, it is important that the chosen location meets the minimum requirements of hygiene and decorum and that it guarantees enough privacy. The equipment is generally simple (electrical outlet, seats, table) and vary depending on the treatment. You will find a complete listing of equipment in your email confirmation after booking.

Can I book a service in my office?

Madame Miranda's mission is to simplify your beauty experience, all our specialists are ready to reach you anywhere you like, including at the office! Just make sure there is enough space and that it won't cause any issue in your work environment. For example, a manicure could be done anywhere, even in an open-space work space during lunch break, but a body massage would require a private and possibly quiet room.

What do I need to provide for the treatment?

The specialists will be equipped with all necessary tools and products. We only request the location you choose for the treatment meets the minimum requirements of hygiene and decorum and that simple equipment is available (one or more electrical outlets, chairs, table -in accordance with the applicable legislation). Depending on the type of treatment, the requirements will be specified in details after you book in the confirmation email.

What happens if a specialist causes a damage?

The specialist registered with MM are covered by insurance. Please feel free to contact our Customer Service if there is any issue.

I am not satisfied with the service I have been provided. Who should I talk to?

You can book special packages with Madame Miranda like for a bride to be, private or corporate events. Since they require direct consultation they are only available for booking through Customer Service.

Who can receive services from Madame Miranda?

Why are some services only available when I complete my booking and not visible in the main menu?

Madame Miranda has established a minimum charge and duration for services that can be purchased individually. For this reason some treatments (like gel removal or small body area hair removal) are only available for purchase in addition to a main service.

Why do I need to provide an ID when I sign up?

Madame Miranda wants to provide a safe experience for all customers. From booking to payment through treatment, all our processes feature id authentication and a continuous feedback system for clients and professionals in compliance with Privacy Laws.

How do I change my password?

Log In to Madame Miranda. Click on 'Change Password' at bottom left, type and confirm your new password.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

Go to Madame Miranda homepage and Click on 'Log In' at bottom right. In the following page, click on 'Forgot my Password', enter your email address and hit 'Enter'. You will receive an email with a link to create a new password. If you don't get an email please contact our Customer Service.

How do I book a treatment with Madame Miranda?

Cancellation and Modification Policy

Can I add treatments to my appointment?

Yes, you can add treatments to your appointment. Simply create a new order using the link in the booking tab of your personal profile.

My specialist is late. How do I know if he/she is on the way?
+

Our specialists are doing their best to be on time and respect the duration of treatments. However, we allow a 15 minutes grace period to make up for delays without impacting your schedule. If the delay is greater than 15 minutes, you can cancel your appointment free of charge through the REPORT DELAY button that will be available in the booking tab of your personal profile.

How do I notify a specialist if I will not be there at the time of the appointment?

It will not be necessary. Our specialist will wait for 15 minutes after the appointment time. After that, the appointment will be cancelled to avoid delays with the following clients. In that case the cost of service will be billed.

The date I want to book my appointment for is not available. What can I do?

The demand for this date is probably very high. Madame Miranda is committed to maximise availability by constantly broadening our offer. Please try and select a different day or time if possible.

What happens if a specialist is late?

What happens if the treatment will require more or less time than predicted?

Being on time is our priority and we commit to respect the starting and ending time of the treatment as much as possible. If our specialist will be faster than expected, you will have more time to yourself! If the treatment required more time you can notify Madame Miranda through the Customer Service. Help us make our service better!

What happens if the specialist I picked is sick or is not able to show up to the appointment?

If the specialist will not be available, Madame Miranda will contact you immediately to work out the best solution for you.

Will I be reimbursed if I cancel my appointment?

If your appointment is cancelled with 24 hours advance notice, Madame Miranda will not charge you. If you appointment will be cancelled with less than 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged 50% of the value of the cancelled service.

How do I modify or cancel an existing appointment?

If you want to modify an appointment with 24 hours advance notice you can do so through your Personal Area >Upcoming Appointments. Click on the Appointment you want to modify and select "Change" to modify date/time keeping the same treatment, specialist and address. It is not possibile to modify an appointment with less than 24 hous notice but you can cancel the appointment. Cancellation is free of charge with 24 hours advance notice. 50% of the service value will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given. Select Upcoming Appointments to cancel it and click on Cancel. Please remember that in case of modification or cancellation, your previously booked appointment will be canceled. If you have any issue please contact our Customer Service.

You can claim a refund by filling in the Contact form. Your request will be processed as soon as possible.

How can I change/update my payment method?

You can modify your credit card details when you complete your payment.

Can I save my card for future bookings?

Yes, just select 'Remember card details for future purchase'. All data will be kept secure by Stripe.

Are there additional costs for at home services?

Madame Miranda is not charging any extra for delivering our services where you wish. Our prices cover the service ordered where and when you want it.

Can I pay cash?

No, you can only pay with credit or pre paid cards.

Can I tip the specialist?

When will I be charged for the service?
